Mid-summers Day, Summer Solstice, Litha, Mid Point In The Year – whatever you wanna call it comes up on 21st/22nd June. In 2017 we are hitting it on Wednesday 21st June.
It’s the longest day of the year (although I had to explain to my mini Rockette that there were not more hours ACTUALLY in the day).
Summer is in full bloom. It’s the height of summer, of power & of energy.
It was traditionally a sun/fire festival.
BUT, what does it mean?
It’s a great review point in the business year. You are half way through the year so it’s a potent time to review that progress, see how far you have come already this year and crafting plans for forward momentum for the rest of the year.
I bet if you think about it you’ve already learned so much in 2017!
So, it’s time to take stock and get ready to power forwards.
Summer Solstice 2017
Venus has a huge connection with the Sun and a topic that may be coming up for you could be surrounding value & worth. You might be thinking about pricing, pricing might scare the pants off you and talking about your pricing might seem a step too far. It is important that you start to value what you do, value your time & your energy. It might be about taking a little look at your boundaries – both with yourself and with other people!

The summer solstice is also great for getting your crystals out and giving them a charge in the sun (rather than the usual moon charging).
So for today;
- Reflect on how far you’ve come in 2017 – be proud of how you’ve grown and all you’ve achieved.
- Make a plan for the rest of 2017 (but don’t get caught in planning ????)
- Pay particular attention to anything that’s coming up around money or worth
- Have a picnic, get outside and connect with the summertime, grow & potential
- Charge your crystals
- Get set for the rest of the year!
